The closest ones are Svarten, Boksjön and Stora Mellsjön. Also pay a visit to the nice summer town of Varberg with a throng of people, taverns, cafes and dance venues, everything that belongs to a summer town. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen in the distance. Take a walk down to the bastions and casemates, follow from the 13th century to our own time. At the lake Yasjön there is a restaurant and the opportunity to rent a boat and canoe as well as a swimming area.
