In the middle of the city, there is also the garden association, a city park with ponds and sports facilities as well as a greenhouse with a garden shop and a restaurant. Also visit Gamla Linköping, which is one of Östergötland's biggest tourist destinations. Here, history comes alive and you can experience the city, countryside and forest as it was a hundred years ago, also visit their cozy shops and cafes. Kolmården's zoo is 65 kilometers north and Astrid Lindgren's world is 100 kilometers south of Linköping. On the same day, you can visit Villa Villekulla, Katthult, and Törnrosdalen, several theater performances and lots of other fun for the children. Popular tourist attraction Bergs slussar, Göta Kanal's largest lock staircase. You come here to see boats going through the locks, eat good ice cream or rent a bicycle or take a cooling bath.
